Privacy Policy

Last Updated: February 2026

At Ukrainian Jewelry (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we respect and protect the privacy of our customers (“you” or “your”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website (ukrainian.jewelry), mobile applications, and other services (collectively, “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

This Policy applies to customers and visitors located in the United States and Canada.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

When you create an account, place an order, or contact us, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and payment method details (processed by third-party payment providers such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, and others).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, products viewed, items added to cart, and purchase history. This information is collected through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies as described below.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party platforms, including social media networks, advertising partners, and analytics providers, to the extent permitted by their policies and applicable law.

2. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies (small files stored on your device), pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to personalize your experience, remember your preferences, analyze site traffic, and serve relevant advertising. You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner or your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

3. Advertising and Data Sharing Technologies

⚠ IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully. It describes how your data may be shared with advertising platforms.

We use the following third-party tools and technologies to measure advertising effectiveness, optimize our marketing campaigns, and provide you with relevant advertisements:

3.1 Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Advertising Tools

Meta Pixel: A JavaScript code snippet on our website that collects data about your browsing behavior (pages viewed, products viewed, items added to cart, purchases) and sends it from your browser to Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta/Facebook”) for advertising measurement and optimization.

Conversions API (CAPI): A server-to-server connection that sends event data (including purchase events, contact information such as your email address and phone number in hashed form, and browsing activity) directly from our server to Meta’s servers. This operates independently of your browser and is not affected by ad blockers or cookie restrictions.

Advanced Matching: A feature that sends hashed versions of your personal information (such as email address, phone number, name, city, state/province, and zip/postal code) to Meta to match your activity on our website with your Facebook or Instagram profile for advertising purposes.

Through these tools, Meta may receive: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address (city, state/province, zip/postal code), browsing activity on our site, purchase history and order values, and device and browser information. Meta uses this data for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning your activity on our site may be used to show you targeted ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta platforms, as well as across the internet.

You can disconnect this data from your Facebook account by changing your settings for Off-Facebook Activity at: https://www.facebook.com/off_facebook_activity

3.2 Google Tools

Google Analytics 4: Collects anonymized data about website traffic, user behavior, and conversions for analytical purposes.

Google Ads Tag: Tracks conversions from Google Ads campaigns and may be used for remarketing.

3.3 Data Retention for Advertising Tools

Data transmitted through server-to-server connections (such as the Conversions API) is retained by Meta in accordance with Meta’s data retention policies. We retain our server-side event logs for up to 24 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 14).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

Processing and fulfilling your orders

Communicating with you about your orders, inquiries, and requests

Sending marketing communications (with your consent where required)

5. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

We may disclose your personal information to the following categories of third parties:

Service Providers: Companies that help us operate our business, including Shopify (e-commerce platform), payment processors, shipping carriers, and customer service tools.

Advertising Partners: Meta/Facebook and Google, as described in Section 3 above.

Disclosure regarding sale/sharing of personal information: Our use of Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Advanced Matching, and Google Ads may constitute “sharing” or “selling” of personal information under certain US state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act). You have the right to opt out of this sharing/selling as described in Section 9.

Legal and Regulatory: Government agencies, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

6. Data Retention

Account and order information: Retained for the duration of your account plus 5 years, or as required for tax and legal compliance.

Cookies and tracking data: Retained for up to 24 months, depending on the specific technology used.

Server-side event data (CAPI): Retained for up to 24 months.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or device sends a GPC signal, we will treat this as a valid opt-out request for the sale and sharing of your personal information associated with that browser or device. You do not need to take any additional action.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. At this time, there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals. We currently treat GPC signals as described above but do not otherwise respond to DNT signals.
